I went to the pub the other day.

In itself that was ok - what made it an occasion was that I went in my Rover.Couldn't drink because I was already in a world of my own. I find the world looks a better place from the driving seat of my P6 and it cheers me up no end.

I also bought myself the DVD of 'The Sweeney' which was a fantastic nostalgia fest of 1970's street scenery (including a fair bit of jag crashing - they never made those things well did they coz by the 70's they were falling to bits and  pretty disposable it seems!). Every day Rovers and politically incorrect drama - fantastic. AND the Practical Classics mag team have decied to fix a P6 - sense at last, I mean if I can (well my brother actually to be fair) get it done they must have a good chance of getting it done.
