Rover P6 Club

  Over the years the club has been asked by various film, TV and publishing organisations to provide cars for various photo and film shoots and thats why we have set up 'The Cars the Star database'. The database is a list of all the cars in the club, which are available for film and photo shoots. Entry to the database is FREE to all club members and £10 per car to non members. There is a simple form to complete and then you are registered.

The database is now responsible for arranging cars for various productions including to the BBC for the drama documentary 'SUPERGRASS' 'THE JOYS OF MOTORING' 'THE YOUNG ONES' and cars to the hit show 'LIFE ON MARS'. Cars have ended up on the big screen also in 'SOUL BOY' 'STREET ILLEGAL' and a drama about Princess Grace of Monaco. One is immortalised in a pop video for BEN LEE TYLER for his second single, 'Would you Wake Up the Sun?' And another has made it big on the photo shoot for GARY BELL for his lattest CD sleeve. Another was involved in a photo shoot for a book by Stephen Begley. AAlso, along the way our P6's have been on BBC and Central TV local tv programes like 'INSIDE OUT' and news items about Rover in general. There have also been countless classic car magazine shoots as well as a computer consul game and a project with Radio 4.
