As you may know, I am working with Nigel Stevens on campaigns to promote our various classic car shows, namely the Bristol Classic Car Show, Autumn Restoration Show and Winter Autojumble.

As part of this, we would like members of your car club in the Somerset area to consider making a dream come true for some local pensioners.

We are currently working with the Western Gazette & Mid Somerset Series on a reader competition to find the most deserving older person or group in need of a day out. The prize we were hoping to offer is a day trip in a selection of classic cars for 10+ people - either the winning group, or individual plus a few friends.

No dates have been set yet and, if any of your members were willing to participate, we would work this around you. In return, we would ensure that your classic car club was promoted in all newspaper coverage.
