The Rover P6 Club will have a full club stand at the National Restoration Show in Stoneleigh Park on Sunday 25th October..........
This year we will be undertaking some in-depth work on the cylinder head in a series 1 2000. Pop along to see this remarkable engine in full open heart surgery!
The show also hosts a major autojumble as well as a broad selection of different clubs, each undertaking work on their cars.
Doors open at 9:30 and close at 16:00. Tickets are £9 each for adults and can be bought in advance from the Stoneleigh website.
The show is based at the National Agricultural Centre in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, about 20 mins from Jct 2 of the M6, or 20 mins from Jct 15 of the M40, just off the A46. Full directions can be found on the Stoneleigh website. Sat Nav navigators are advised to use post code CV8 2LG as the destination address.
Limited regalia will be on offer, so if you intend to buy, email firstname.lastname@example.org today to make sure we bring what you'd like.
Brian Humphreys will also be present at Stoneleigh to collect subs from those who renew each year in person at the show.
The Stoneleigh Restoration Show marks the beginning of the Winter indoor show season, which also sees the NEC Classic Motor Show (14-16 Nov) and Practical Classics NEC Restoration Show (28-29 Mar) taking place. The P6 Club continues to have a major prescence at all of these shows.
The indoor shows are a great place for members - new and old - to meet up and chat in a warm location. It's also a great place to get up close and personal with several P6s, which is a great benefit, especially if you need technical advice - it's always much easier to explain things when you can point to a component on a real life car! Plenty of Committee members are always at these shows, and they're always keen to meet members.
We look forward to seeing you.
